User research and data gathering (contextual inquiries, interviews, usability and eye tracking testing), and product strategy, design and development (site map, user journeys, use cases, functional specifications, wireframes and prototypes) of Globo.com’s semantic platform. As a result of this project, a semantic annotation widget was included in Globo.com’s Content Management System (CMS). By making use of that widget’s functionality, journalists were able to easily relate similar content and organise articles/stories in a more structured way.
Contextual inquiries, interviews, usability and eye tracking testing were carried out in order to validate/improve the proposed solution and overall user experience.
